Tools and materials required
- Construction adhesive (such as Fix-All nails or similar)
- Screws and anchors (appropriate for your wall type)
- Screwdriver or drill
- Measuring tape
- Level
- Pencil
- Utility knife or saw (for cutting panels to size if required)
- Caulk gun (for adhesive)
Step-by-step Guide
1. Preparation
- Clean the walls: Make sure the wall surface is clean, dry, and free of dust or debris. This ensures better adhesion.
- Measure the wall: Measure the area where you plan to install the panels to determine the layout and how many panels you’ll need.
- Mark the layout: Use a pencil and level to mark the placement of each panel on the wall. This will help you position the panels correctly.
2. Cutting panels (if required)
- Measure and mark: Measure the panels and mark where they need to be cut.
- Cut the panels: Use a utility knife or saw to cut the panels to the desired size. Be sure to cut on a stable surface and wear safety gear.
3. Applying adhesive
- Load the caulk gun: Insert the construction adhesive into the caulk gun.
- Apply a generous amount of adhesive to the back of the acoustic panel. Create a zigzag pattern or apply dots of adhesive around the edges and centre of the panel.

- Carefully place the panel onto the wall according to your layout marks.
